WHY PARTNER with NATALIE of COMPASSIONATE PRACTICES?
I am passionate about working with folx who are willing to get curious & connect with their body & nervous system to support the healing of muscular pain, anxiety, stress & trauma. When we give the nervous system space to feel safe and to regulate, we can become better equipped to heal and to handle life's ups and downs. My practice is a blend of all I have learned and experienced throughout my career. As an LMT with a clinical foundation, I am equipped to help people manage bodily aches & pains - be it the everyday kind, from repetitive stress or an injury. I provide an integrated approach to therapeutic transformation and growth. When indicated, I blend clinical, trauma-informed, yoga & SE methods creating a holistic approach and experience.
My hope is to help you feel more at ease & at home in your body.
As a practitioner I am best matched with people who are willing to understand
I have spent my career studying anxiety, stress & trauma and the impact they have on our nervous system, body & mind. I have spent the majority of my adult life walking my own healing path and I have first hand experience with what it means to be an active participant in one's recovery.
Techniques & Approaches I bring into sessions as needed: Myofascial Release, Clinical Massage, Swedish & Deep Tissue, Trigger Point Therapy, Thai Massage inspired table techniques, Assisted Stretching, Lomilomi, Somatic Experiencing, Progressive Muscle Relaxation, Breath Work.
In the years that I have been active in my own healing and recovery, I have grown more than I could have ever fathomed. I have learned to feel comfortable and at home in my body. I have reached milestones, gained new insights, been set free....and also....made mistakes & learned difficult lessons. All of these experiences were necessary aspects of my healing and recovery and have made me a stronger, more capable and happier person. I look forward to sharing all that I have learned with you!

As a practitioner I am best matched with people who are willing to understand
- that oftentimes, much of the pain and suffering we endure is connected to the nervous system.
- that an aggressive "no pain no gain" mentality is not compatible with the work I share nor is it compatible with profound, lasting recovery.
- that their body is always communicating with them (& they are open to listening to it!)
- that our work together is a partnership and it requires communication & collaboration.
- that healing & recovery are often a complex & winding journey that requires patience, commitment & effort.
- that this work is not a quick fix or meant to be "one & done."

Compassionate Practices was born from my mission to create space for the exploration of self-compassion and acceptance, and to support people as they travel the winding road of healing and recovery.

COVID Precautions Are a Priority!
I am fully vaccinated Extensive measures have been taken to reduce risk of transmission or harm within our space via air, surface and proximity considerations. The community of professionals at Tribe have come together to set some new guidelines which will allow us to continue moving forward, and help everyone to still feel safe in our space:
I waive my cancellation policy in the case of illness. This has always been my practice. I don't want anyone to ever feel as though they need to come to a session sick or risk paying a cancellation fee. Everyone's safety is our highest priority and this is why our guests have said they feel as if Tribe is one of the safest spaces in the city to receive care. |
